Topic: original hardtops or weissman Posted: 23-November-2004 at 17:19 |
Right,
I have owned 2 weissman hardtops and now have just bought an original one.
What are your opinions on these?!

Are the 2 designs the same? The original in the photo certainly looks the part. I bet it makes a huge difference to noise levels in winter.

hello,
the main difference with the two hardtops are that the original one has a more squared off roof/rear window simulating the look of the tin top m3 whereas the weissman one resembles more of an e36 or e46 curved hardtop.
Both of them look the part.
The other hardtop i have is provisionally sold, but i can get you one for £950ish.
If you are interested give me a call.

Hi
Dont forget you can still get the Wiesmann roof new in the colour of your choice and different internal trim levels..both original and Wiesmann both have different good points depending upon personal taste..it seems to be a love hate thing with both types
Good luck
