hello all;

i know some of you are probably thinking why i'm asking about this here but i think good advice is good advice. i'm trying to find out for my brother who owns a '90 merc 200E about spurious parts.

he's trying to move the car on, but he needs get the nct done. apparently he needs both track rods and a new fuel pump.

apparently, a used pump is a bad idea and a new genuine one is €250. i'm wondering if OTTO, gsf etc. would have spurious ones and if so would they be up to the job? ditto the track rods

what is the general concensus on spurious parts??

I guess that it depends on the part and who makes it but many specific parts would possibly be OEM.
