Ah, yes, but, A Man of you charisma can surely sort that out?

the main thing we need to sort out is Car-Decals - for Gaydon......

That's easily sorted, I could do that so the banner fits to a maximum of 800x600 (or less if required)

Just ideas..the more input the better IMO

Now then chaps!

All (well, most of ) these designs are great, BUT................

will we be able to: -

a) decide what we want?

(and)

b) get it organised before Gaydon??

remember, JH (& his cronies) will be there so we have to put on a show of strength.

I'll see. We may not need permission (AFAIK) if we are not using a roundel.
I suppose if they were willing to give permission to use the roundel/name in the future it would be great.
Thanks.

Rossis's logo looks good, but in my view, there's no way we'll get away with that.

Killian, I have spoken to someone at BMW UK about this reasonably recently.  I can do so again if it would assist?

I like the idea of the banner witrh the outlines on it. The appropriate one can be shown on the appropriate tech page and for other pages they could be alternated.
I guess for the Irish/Scottish/anywhere else, they could be customised, unless you want to keep the old logo and use the current board as your regions board, in which case you are welcome to use the logo if you want.

They are some very cool designs - you guy's are certainly very good at what you do. It will be class to get them out for Gaydon

am liking that duncan ...  looks better without 'the ultimate' on it ..

they would make good stickers for the car , on a tranperant surface instead of white so you get the model of your car and logo

would look good on the back quarters ..

I think the variations on the Roundel look far better than the banner format. RossiS one is very clever in terms of skirting copyrights.. clever enough though?

heres my effort .. simple but differs from the orignal rondell ..

obviously the slogan could be changed at the bottom as i know there was an issue using 'THE ULTIMATE'

the overall design you guys decide would be good to be used as a sticker aswell so everyone has the same logo/lettering etc..

so something simple and effective would make a good sticker aswell as forum logo ..

why not both .    have the roundell as the front page then the banner across the top of forum pages
just a little crazy.

Looks good, tho' I do like the idea of a baner accross the top as NeRo suggested.

I like the design, but I think it may cause problems as it is a variation of the theme - they could possibly argue the font style, the rear roundel .... I like the thinking though

Personally, I think would prefer a banner (600 * 200) to go along the top of the page (as in the previous design) - this will mean we could get more onto a page and will loke better proportioned?
