thanks that was mine, small world LOL

car is striking but a bit tatty close up, im working on it  hope you didnt see the awful state of the bumper corner guards (previous owner had a tight driveway) im glad to say i picked up some pretty clean ones from a breaker at the weekend.

wing is totally shot... poked finger through it while drunk  im trying to source a replacement, know any specialist BMW breakers in the area? all the breaking ones ive seen so far have been dinged or rotten.

Does you car have 5 spoke ACS (style) wheels?

I popped by Ronnies last Tuesday or Wednesday and there was a really nice looking red E34 outside, was that yours? ... the reason I ask is the front o/s wing sounds similar to your previous post.

If it is yours ..... nice 5er

no i forgot to ask after the service (too much relief at the clean bill of health)

it was your post - you use weavers and your car is red too so i thought your recommendation should be a good one ;)

RW Weavers are excellent.

I'm trying my hardest to get the club some discount from them.

Hi all, I just joined the forum

I used RW Weaver to get my recently aquired E34 serviced and inspected and will agree it was a very friendly service and they wont scalp you as they had a pretty good opportunity to with a novice owner like me :)

Thank god for good independent garages, I generally hate putting cars into garages, mainly through bad experience... one of my mates equated it to 'leaving your wife with an unqualified gynaecologist'

Cosmetics are the next step, rust in front o/s wing and bootlid and some vandal dinks need sorted so I reckon I'll try DJM. Anyne else used them? its always good to have a few opinions. ;)

I must have just missed you, I popped in tonight just before they closed.

It's funny, Ronnie and Andy did ask me where is was I got my car painted.

Donnie (from DJM, who did my car) will look after you, and his work is top notch. If your coming to the meet at the end of the month, you can check out his work in the flesh.

I'm glad your using Weaver's ... would'nt take my car anywhere else now.

Craig.

These guys are excellent, and also really know their BMWs (as they should, since they've been going a good 20 years).

Pay them a visit, as the advice is always free!

It must be good job if no one has spotted it

The car got keyed real bad (bonnet, both n/s door and rear quater panel) after I spent all day polishing and waxing it.  Had to wait 2 years (untill I moved to a house with off road parking) before I got it done .... still for £400 I got the damage, new mirrors and the rust round the fuel flap sorted.

Craig.

CH Bull & Sons (Coachworks) Ltd, Kilmacolm Road, Bridge of Weir, Renfrewshire, PA11 3PH, Tel 01505 614961.  They are at the BP garage in Bridge of Weir.

Bulls are on all the insurance company books and get cars in from all over Scotland and North of England to straighten out.

They are excellent hence the above.
