Hey it's amazing how much we can get through at that time of night.

We put the world to rights, criticise every car in the world other than our own of course (!), fantasise about Chavs being against the law, cover political agendas that world leaders would be proud of, offer advice on what drink to have between keystrokes and even, very occasionally, we share a chinese together (but it messes the screen up as you pass it through so you have to be careful).

As many people as possible should get in there tonight, it's a good old banter session.

My big problem with the chat room, and the reason why I don't go in very often is that I can keep up. By the time I've typed my message in and it's appeared on the screen the conversation has moved on. Unfortunately my internet connection at home is very slow and my PC isn't up to broadband

I am actually trying to find a decent chat application either in Java or Flash which will replace the current one.

It's just rubbish guys, its as simple as that ... best sticking to MSN for the tried and not so necesarily "trusted" chat room experience.

In your profile there is a field for you to put your MSN / Yahoo user ID's in so people can "buddy" eachother.

Got to remember this place is FREE and done voluntarily ... so nobody should expect 100% reliability, plus as mentioned it's a BETA and sepearate resource written by ConquerChat.

Try getting on Halifax online banking late on a Sunday .. not a hope in hell.

I suspect a hosting server backing up that interferes with the chat client in some way......

No idea, but would be interseting to find out why it does it. I think its a beta version (so has bugs), but don't quote me on that.

I hope so. We had a good banter going on about socioeconomic stability of outer mesopotamia and the effect on other cultures. I found it most educational.

Seriously though, it does seem to crash every night like the proverbial clockwork. Anyone any ideas?
