No belt except acc belt. Change fuel filter every 15K (miles) - forget schedule on that item. BMWcare |

Another quick question at what mileage should the timing belt be changed on a 320d? Edited by Senan |

Senan How does your temperature gauge look? If its reading less than right bang in the middle it could be that the thermostat has failed. Its a fairly common fault. Alternatively, if its had the thermo or water pump changed recently it could just need bleeding. As regards the outside temp, I'd say your hunch is right but I'm not sure what the cost of a fix is. btw. Welcome! Edited by Dergside |

Hi All
Bought my first BMW today and wow what a car (320D SE 2001) hooked already My dash is reading -40 c so I presume the temp sensor is broken is this easily fixed? Also my AC works as the air gets well cold (weird smell when a/c is on) but the heat doesnt get that hot and the air flow strength from the ducts is very low have i got a prob with the heating a/c system? Cheers Senan Dublin, Ireland |
