You should be able to get away with 235's i had set all round on 525 im going for 8 on front and 9 on rear of 540 when i get a set
If you can't be good don't get caught

I will give them a shot on the 8 inch rim, if it looks crap I will just get some 225's or 235's I think.

They'll go at a squeeze, i've had 245 on 8" rim before with no ill effects, but ideally IIRC 255 should go on a 9" rim or bigger. They may look a little strange also as the tyre will be balloning out of the rim.

Hello all.

 

I own a 330ci couple with all the trimmings, I have recemtly bought some really nice MV2 replicas (look exactly like the originals) with 8j rims all round, oh they are 18 inches btw.

 

Could I fit 255/35/18's to an 8 inch rim on the rears?

 

Or is this unsafe - too wide?

 

help appreciated!
