Topic: Bodyshop/Welder required Posted: 08-January-2005 at 19:12 |
Hi There
Just joined the forum so hello to everybody.
Hopefullysomebody can help me. My 325i sport had fish tank levels of water in the rear quarters behind the rear wheel arches (in the boot)
Can anyone recommend a reliable bodyshop in the Glasgow area to take my car to for an estimate and subsequent repair?
Thanks
Alistair

Sounds like the drain holes are blocked (that's if you mean in the wells either side of the boot) Had same problem with my old E30, tho' in the 325i this is a bit dodgy as it's where the battery lives isn't it?

Na Rhys trust me mate in aint the drain holes![](smileys/bigcry.gif)
I had hoped thats all it would be, or I thought it was the sunroof drain tubes but no!! I have had my fingers through from the boot on the battery side out into the arch. I think if I had kept on pushing I would be able to get my hand through and touch the tyre!!
Cheers

CH Bull & Sons (Coachworks) Ltd, Kilmacolm Road, Bridge of Weir, Renfrewshire, PA11 3PH, Tel 01505 614961. They are at the BP garage in Bridge of Weir.
Bulls are on all the insurance company books and get cars in from all over Scotland and North of England to straighten out.
They are excellent hence the above.

It must be good job if no one has spotted it ![](smileys/biggrin1.gif)
The car got keyed real bad (bonnet, both n/s door and rear quater panel) after I spent all day polishing and waxing it. Had to wait 2 years (untill I moved to a house with off road parking) before I got it done .... still for 400 I got the damage, new mirrors and the rust round the fuel flap sorted.
Craig.

I must have just missed you, I popped in tonight just before they closed. ![](smileys/biggrin.gif)
It's funny, Ronnie and Andy did ask me where is was I got my car painted.
Donnie (from DJM, who did my car) will look after you, and his work is top notch. If your coming to the meet at the end of the month, you can check out his work in the flesh.
I'm glad your using Weaver's ... would'nt take my car anywhere else now.
