LOL, anyone who has met me would surely agree that there is no way i am obese!!! I'm a big dude, i am 17 1/2 stone and 6ft 1, according to this i would need to be 12 stone to be in the "healthy" catagory, lol. Again, for the guys who know me, imagine if i lost 5 1/2 stone, imagine how rediculous i would look! i would look completely anorexic......... Take the BMI with a pinch of salt....oh no better not i am trying to cut down LOL!

FYI since I started this caper.... I was 19. something, I thought I was fat. Will still go to gym on reg' basis though to keep in shape for the wife.

27.91 You are in the overweight range. should read 27 (6'2", 15st) usually, which is still overweight (apparently) I wouldn't say I was overweight, being a plasterer in the building trade does build you up a bit, muscle weighs more than fat etc..  Edited by Rhys |

Don't read too much into this. My other half is a Doctor and they say its not the be all and end all but just a guide! i.e. doesn't take into account muscle build! Muscle is heavier than fat. Fact! I was 25! Probably less but I don't work in stones and pounds so I over estimated my weight cos unlike the BBC website I'm metric cos I work in the 21st century not stuck back in the old days. It'll be pounds shillings and pence next along with cwt (hundred weights)! What is a hundred weight anyway? The weight of a bag of coal or bag of spuds from the good old days?
