Does anyone know if there is an insurance plan which allows you to own several cars in a collection, under one umbrella policy?

There certainly are, companies do it all the time.

Cost etc, I've no idea.

If they are older cars, try Heritage

Wow! that was fast, I am impressed with this board already!

I will look into the insce issue.

I use a broker/insurer called Carol Nash. do you know them?

the collection is as per my board sig - combined value of 6.50???

Have a look under the Links at the top of this page, you will find Carol Nash mentioned there amongst others, more than likely with a club discount as well.

Chris Knott does it as well, "small fleet" I think they called it, for about 5-6 cars. Used it once and they were pretty reasonable.  IanT
