Hello Bopsy

Of course you are welcome, but remember it is a meeting of the Irish Region of the BMW Car Club. To join the club use this link

http://www.bmwcarclubgb.co.uk/newmembers/join.html

See there and hopefully we can convince of the benefits of joining the club.

OK folks, all set for tomorrow @ 2pm at the Spa hotel? I can picture everyone out polishing their cars tomorrow morning so they are not embarrased by Niall and Richie!

Anyway, for those who aren't sure, the Spa hotel is just past Lucan (outbound) on the N4. If coming from the M50 direction, pass the traffic lights at the Newcastle Rd. junction and anout 1/4 mile down the road there is a left turn/slip road. The entrance to the hotel is just past that.
If coming from Enfield direction, there is a gap in the middle of the dual carriageway to allow you cross over to the hotel. Basically shortly after you come off the M4 onto the N4, there is a slip road down towards Lucan. On the other side of this carrigeway, there is the gap.

BTW, there is a fixed Gatso on the side of the road (inbound) around here but it shouldn't really affect any of us

Yup Truth is I'm going to have the car looked at with a view to getting all scratches and dings sorted so it has to be clean and I have to get this all done before going to Lucan.

Its not fair.  I'm going to have to drive from Tipperary.

I'll have to drive very carefully to avoid as much road slime as possible and bring a bucket of water and sponge/chamois in the boot.  Thankfully they've by-passed Monasterevin.  It would have proven difficult to avoid spillage on the sharp right hander at the end of the main street.

A quick bacon sarnie in Bewley's at Newlands Cross (being careful to slow down for metal speed bump on the way in to avoid further spillage) should leave just enough time (if not water) for a quick wash and brush up to try and keep up with you boys!

You could have your sarnie at the Spa Hotel in lucan after washing your car and sit back in the heat of the hotel lookin out at your clean car while you wipe the tomato sauce from your face

If the after with the meguiars is a significant improvement on the before it should be dazzling!  Time to call in the IOU from my nephew for his PS2 game at Christmas!
