Just to clarify will all of the following be at Mondello to collect their meguiars and Calenders; llatsni, JohnH, Mikerd4, Lord Vader, Mackeroo1, Fey, Robbie, Graham G, Techno Violet. just so I can bring down what is needed and leave the rest at home. I won't be on the forum after Monday as I ahve a bit of other work to do at Cork so will have no access to a computer till Friday nite.
Cheers Topazman

I will be too busy detailing some cars that I have promised to do so it will be Meguiars at full speed so I am giving computers a miss for the week. Clean, polish, wax & bed for the week

Nice one! That will make the Meguiars products more than pay for themselves!! I just hope that the rain disappears for you or that you have a sheltered area to work in.
I'll hopefully see you in Mondello to collect my items. Thanks Niall.

Guys, just a question to you about the Meguiars stuff.
Other car in the house has a lot (I mean a lot) of pits in the lower front bumper from stone chips. I used a wax the other day on the car (not Meguiars but a carnauba wax, paste type) and after about an hour this stuff had dried in the pits and it looked like someone had got a paint brush with cream coloured paint and splattered the bumper. It looks worse than before.
Before I consider getting quotes on a respray, is there anything in the Meguiars range that is worth using for this? Either one priduct, or a combination of more than one?
Cheers,
Tom

If there are pits/chips in the paintwork no cleaning/polishing product will get rid of them the only thing left is a respray I'm afraid. The cheaper option would be a coloured polish like in the turtle wax range which will mask out the chips for a while anyway

Thought so....might try a coloured wax for now but arrange for the respray in the next few months. Need to pay the balance for the holiday first.
