The BMW Club NE are planning a trip up to Alnwick Gardens next Sunday ( the 12th ).

Exact time and place of departure will be announced on the club website ( www.bmwclubne.co.uk ) and on this thread but is expected to be the fast food & flop house next to the Newcastle Holiday Inn ( A1/A19 junction ).

A scenic route up the coast is being devised but those with hyper-warp capability (e.g. Han Solo in the Millenium Falcon & Coasting in the M3 ! ) can choose a longer route if they wish.

Lunch can be either a picnic or for the more civilised of you, in the new tree top restaurant.

A game of Quiddich will be optional.

Interested ?

Would you mind a slight invasion from the North for say 1pm ish ?

Think 2 or 3 have expressed an interest since it's close to the Border

Are the gardens in Alnwick Castle ?

All welcome, the more the merrier.

I'm sure pork pies will be available but not sure if they match up to Helmsley ones.

Info on the garden:-  http://www.alnwickgarden.com/index.asp

I'm going to try to persuade the wife and kids to come too, but I don't think she'll be too interested.

The opportunity of the best part of the day without me is probably way too appealing to her!
