I doubt it, don't think they did them in Turd Brown

Ha ha!! "BMW Sonderlack Hundscheisse Brun"?
"Quick Margot, fetch the Fondue set"
The owner wouldn't be drinking Watneys Red Barrel!
God, I remember all that when it was new.

Well, I've got both eyes open. Consider this though:
1.) It'll never be valuable - real classics rarely are.
Crap like MGB's, TR4's will always outvalue an R080
2.) Virtually all of them have gone. Why not save one?
3.) If you saw one - you'd cross the road to look at it.
4.) It's nostalgia - the way we, and cars, used to be.
If I can save it, I will!!!

Crap like MGB's......... I love mine, cost me a grand sum of £129 last year excluding fuel, insureance £80, MOT £30 ,Oil change and service £19.
I do Love The BMW more.......but £129 would buy half a door seal
and for what a good mgb roadster costs to buy and run it is and always will be cheap, but rather slow fun.
Good luck with the 630 cs..

Whoops, I've offended an MGB owner......
For my sins I once had an Island Blue 1966 BGT.
With decent dampers and a Downton head it flew!
As standard, they're 'orrible...AND EXPENSIVE!
But an Iris blue 1962/3 pull handle car is sweet.

And an ex TR4 owner, I preferred it over the MGB at the time. Still no what you mean by your comment regards value, but not the crap part!
That steering wheel, it's a BMW motorsport item if I can see clearly!

Well despite car bomb threats in Finchley..........
......I went and had a look today!
Bad bits:
It needs repairs to both wings, but only the front.
It needs some paint here and there (scratches)
It's got a fuel leak from the tank area.
Good Bits:
It's done a genuine 50'000 km from new (27k miles)
Minor wing gremlins apart, it's 100% rot free.
Excellent interior with the M1 type steering wheel.
Lovely clean engine bay and clean undersides.
Four new Uniroyals.
Original, ultra low miles and unmolested!
Just the way I like them!!
It belongs to the brother of a tenant there.
I've got £600 for it, 700 at a shove.
My number's been passed on..we'll see!

It just has the look and feel of a low miler.
The fact it isn't rotten backs up the mileage!
I think the car is in fact a 1979, one of the last.
It's definitely worth saving - £800 should see it done.

As I wrote, it's probably the only one ever brought to the UK, so it speaks for itself....

I can't understand why nobody else here likes it.
I think it looks superb, a real period piece.
The wings are only rusty above the front bumper.
The top edges are perfect - that's the unfixable area.
