just thought i'd say hello to everyone, ive just registered today.

i own a E39 523i SE which i just bought a-week ago i stay west of Glasgow and i'm looking for as much info as possable to do with looking after my car and "DIY" job's that i can do to it.

first 2 pic's are the day i bought it "standard condition"

 

this is it after 1 week of ownership, 18" SCHNITZER 2 style wheel's and i added the rear spoiler 

 

clear front lense's, side's and rear's will be fitted next week...so will new chrome grille insert's.

 

HHmm! the picture's were working??

Contact noisufnoc as he is in charge of 5 series register and will give you loads of advice

Welcome Ian, you'll get loads of info and tech advice on this forum. I'm not so familiar with the E39, but plenty of guys out there have one or two, good luck.

this is is the first beeeeeemer ive had, and i'm luv'n it...so smooth to drive and very sturdey  (ive ad a few dwrink's)......

Have you thought about AC Schnitzer mirrors?

 

They would finish it off

funny you should say that..ive a mate who owns a E39 SCHNITZER and ive been eye'n up his mirror's ....ive also just bought a front lower lip spoiler to add on, for more of a personnal touch
