It's behind the restraining strap, you can just see it. The emergency window winding seems to be a bit of a McGyver palaver. |

Hmm, yes, black cat in a coal cellar too- its almost the same colour as the tray, isn't it... I've seen three or four different editions of the owners manual; only one mentions the window 'adapter'- but it came in the tool kit of the other two cars anyway, and is required for at least one of them. Basically if you pull the plug off the door and/or the rear trim panel and you can see a plastic hexagon (which will be set a way back on the rear) then you are OK. If there is no hexagon (as on the rear windows of my '85 project car) then you need the 'widget'. I would say its chances of falling down in the rear panel are very high indeed if you actually tried to use it.... cheers

Ben would be pleased with that result, the last I heard his rear windows were still stuck/rusted up!
