Could drop an M3 Evo engine in it-that'll surprise most other cars out there.

The only airflow mod I know off involves changing / knackering the spring under the lid. It is quite common on rally pug 205s. All it does is make the flap open quicker when going from standstill to moving which means more fuel sooner and therefore a better response. I wouldnt recommend it for a road car though as it will make it rather expensive to run! In my opinion messing with the fuelling on a road car should only be done when the engine has been modded. Try a custom mapped chip. Usually it can compensate for weak mixtures.

Try Commercial/Business Agency, perks with company cars much (even though mines a Bora) better as is no driving customers, no office,no weekends or bank hols and finish at 6pm! £££ better too. Then you can get an M for the weekend!! Total BMW did a feature a while back on this and I think it was saying remap on chip plus inducion kit and exhaust. |

im somewhere between brighton and sunny bognor !! i had a look at it today it all seems ok although from what i can see it might have a slight blow on the rear box , if u got a welder it shouldnt be a prob . u can have the manifold if u want it !! like i said im givin the rest of it to a mate cos he needs front end panels and trims so take what u need as long as i can still tow it to his house . |

i wuold say the nearest would be either the a27 , or the a23 but im about 30 mins away from the m25 ( gatwick turnoff if that helps ) . i took the exhaust off the car yesterday so its just sitting here . im pretty sure after looking at it , the main exhaust is a standard item but the back box is a proper (italian made, or so the sticker says)ansa item , its bloody hooooge . i was gna give it a polish up yesterday eve but it got too coooooooolllllldddd . if u still want it , its urs ! |

The mod you are talking about is the fitment of the M30 AFM to improve air flow. Its a mod a few of us on www.e30zone.co.uk have been toying with, it can work out to give a noticable improvement but not on its own. You need an FSE power boost valve and set the fuel pressure slightly higher then you need to fiddle about with the spring until its right. I definatley wouldn't recommend this unless you really know what your doing with it, the best first mod will be a chip email chips@e30zone.co.uk for information.
