Thanks to everyone who turned up for lunch today instead of going to Wetherby.

Another pub added to the list of 'those we have to go back to'.

Cheers,

Mick

Sorry I couldn't make this one guys, I took advantage of a free weekend to catch up on all "those jobs" that never get done!!!! And the weather forcast was supposed to be wetter than it was......

Where did you go?  Any pictures?

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Ferris pass-out at 31 Flavours last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Sorry Tim no pictures this time. Nice lunch though and some sunny scenery to drive through.

I agree with Terry, the food was pretty good.

We were aiming for The Anchor at Whittonshall, which is between Ebchester and the A68 and owned by the guy who pulled the M3 out of the snow with his 4X4 just after Xmas.

We'd just been a couple of weeks earlier to get a menu for sometime in the future, so decided to give it a try. Andy phoned them to find that they were fully booked (a good sign) so he suggested The Feathers at Headley on the Hill, which was only a few miles away. No traditional Sunday dinners, but it was all spot on. The puddings were very good too!

I'll get something sorted for the Anchor for later in the year.

Cheers,

Mick
