He's a facelift E82 123d coupe in Vermillion red and comes with xenons, HK, storage pack, tints, BMWP Strut Brace, cruise and Storm Motorworks V1. First impressions are good. As quick as the GT, half the tax, twice the fuel economy, cheaper insurance and serviced half as often. |

I suspect it's short gearing at play... Power as you would expect is quite different in terms of delivery. On a stretch of road which allows for a sprint from 0 to a given speed, the 123d reached the same speed at pretty much the same point as the GT. Not particularly scientific I grant you but in terms of my driving experience a nice wee benchmark. |

Having not driven one but owning a deisel I know what you mean a lot more power lower down in the rev range. Love the colour. I know they are different animals but which would be your preferred choice all things being equal |
