Guys,

With one month to go, we have really got to get a handle on the numbers going to turn up.

If anyone intends driving and has not booked a place can they do so immediately. We are not even close to the break-even point and so have to look at other ways of making the day work. This will have to start next week.

If you intend going - please let us know. Even by posting here.

Thanks,

Brendan

Brendan,

I would like to book a spot for the better driving day if possible. I am still to send money etc to the Club in the UK - I will do this next week, so should be a paid up member soon.

Cheers,
Crispin

I don't have a car to use at the track day as such - the earliest I'll have a new one is about the 7th of September, I'll be at the event either way though - would be more than happy to pay a small fee to the club to come and spectate.

Just don't want to fork out the full amount and not have a car to drive !

I'd like to do the same Ken. Brendan, are you making provision for club members that would like to spectate?

Not specifically. The usual Mondello things will apply I'd say. What are you thinking about specifically?

Just want to go along and enjoy the day & the craic. If spectators are to contribute, shouldn't we do so towards the club rather than Mondello?

As far as I know, there is no cost for spectators but I'd need to confirm it.

We need a minimum of 25. At the moment it something around 14-15. If we cannot get close to 25 by the end of next week or early the following week then we might have to cancel it.

It is costing €3000 so 30 people at €100 breaks even. If 25 arrive it will be €120 - so we would have to collect another €20 each. I don't think it is fair to ask for more than this - but tell be what you think.

The "published" cost is Ł65 (~€100) covering 2-6pm. It will be run in probably 3 groups (Novice, Intermediate & Experienced - but possibly 2 if there is a small turn out) for 10-12 minutes per group. There is also an option for 2 groups to run longer sessions but with an open pit lane for the relevent group during this time.

Let me know your thoughts on how you would like to have it run.

We really need a big push in the next week so do what you have to!

We hope to send some emails, make some calls, chase some sponsorship and use main dealers to make this work. I'll be desperately disappointed if we fail to pull it off.

My wife and 2 kids are going to be along later in the day. Can they get in as spectators ? What is the cost for them to get into Mondello?

Ian

Hope to have new break pads fitted by Saturday. I opted for genuine BM parts (Just arrived this morning). There are two different sizes for the E46 front disks which might have been a problem had I not ordered form BMW.

Should get them bedded in by Saturday
