The horse is dead, there's little mileage in continuing to flog it - other than for sadistic pleasure that is.

The world is a tragedy to those who feel, but a comedy to those who think.

I can think of a more apt quote for them....

After all, I am still a club member and want to keep abreast of whats happening. Especially in a forum where non-members are supposed to be able to view all the forums - but funnily enough you can't.

Can they boot you out when your membership expires (I mean, will their software do it automatically, or is it a manual job?)

as it is a manual addition, I would presume it is also a manual removal

I'm still in for the time being too. I think 'they' need to realise that the club is meant to be a pleasure to be a member of and is run FOR the members with a LITTLE help and guidance to keep it full steam ahead. I wonder what would happen if the members slowly left, one by one? Do you think things would change? I'm sticking with it for the mo for various reasons, I like a number of members and the events are cool as are the discounts we get. You never know, the powers that be are probably keeping their beady eyes on this forum and might start to realise the big mistake they've made!!

No, seriously, it really could happen, they said Titanic was unsinkable for heavens sake!

Regards

Mike

correction.. that should read,
A club run for the members, by the members.
We seem to have strayed a little from that mantra.

You could leave.. you would save 35pa.. nothing would change.

You could stay.. get involved with your local meet.. enjoy the regional events.. things would change.

Nick, you have left out the bit about it being a non-profit making association from within the mantra.

Rob.

Glad I found you lot again.

In an Email to me, Mr Dale would not disclose this URL, as it was a "competitor forum".

Hmm, I think I can judge where the knowledge lies.

I see he understands the spirit of the internet.
What exactly is the BMWCC forum competing for?
