Election Posters on side of roads are unreal this time.  They are so distracting to the driver.  Do our government really need a kick in the ass for doing this???  Not to mention the fact that they want not to allow to put for sale signs on cars at the road side.  The word contradaction pops to mind!!!!!
I miss my m3.......

They should all be done for littering.

There must be some amount of half-wits putting up those posters. There are an incredible amount sticking out into traffic or blocking your view at junctions. Very dangerous.

Came across a few charred remains of posters in Leixlip this morning. Looks
like some louts went around all night with a lighter. Or maybe someone
from the tidy towns?

And they are only allowed up when the election has been called and must be
taken down within a certain time after the election. 2 weeks I think. Then
they can be prosecuted for littering. Like that will happen.

IIRC they must be down withn 7 days.
Dublin City Council have various guidelines for the placement - not on traffic poles, above 2.5m, etc.
I travelled along the N3 towards town from the M50 this afternoon. All the ones that I saw disobeying this rule were FF posters.

I quite fancied the sinn fein bird that was plastered all over the place.

I'm also glad your roads are coming along nicely, 40 mins to fly from brum to dublin on air fungus, then two hours to travel a few miles to castle something or other !

Still nice to be over though

Best Wishes

Nigel

Completely agree and they are targeting Kerry especially hard with Lynn Ní Bhaoighealláin and of course the lovely Toireasa Ferris (not running) other Sinn Fein politicians that are easy on the eye include Martina Anderson and Michelle O'Neill both NI Politicians. Still jabba *cough* I mean Mary Horney wins by a country mile*.

*I'd run ten country miles away from her.

You should see Liz O'Donnell's posters, the amount of photoshopping gone into them. Same goes for you one Olivia Mitchell who appears to have no wrinkles on the poster but I saw her today out canvassing and my god, she is like a prune!

I don't see beauty in Mary Lou McDonald but I can see where your coming from about Liz O'Donnell.
