Well I'm currently laid out horizontal and using the laptop - can hardly bloody move.

Something they term "Muscular Skeletal Shock" I'm told - could be commonly termed severe backache I reckon.  Upright or laid out - fine....anything else, MAJOR PAIN!

Never had this before, nothing even like it.

Actually it came back looking not too bad.  A lot of flies on the front valance after an "enthusiastic" journey up the A19.....

It went in to the dealers for a new OSR spring anyway so they cleaned it this morning.  Only took 90 mins and it saved me having to wash it until the weekend (although in my present condition that wouldn't be happening!!!).

Hmmm, I wonder.  On the way up beyond Rosedale I held back and then blipped it up the hill for a few hundred yards.  I hit a crest and it skipped to the right, and it definately jolted me a lot in my seat.

Maybe, but I doubt it.  I felt nothing yesterday, no problems at all.  When it happened today it just came on like a bolt from the blue - bang, knocked me off my feet in seconds.  Hospital, the lot.

I've had severe back problems before, and it aint nice - having to get our lass to put my socks on me as I cant bend down, pressing yourself into doorways to try and ease the pain. Can't stand, can't sit, can't lie down never mind walk wothout wanting to pass out. Had to wear a weightlifting belt, helped a lot - but didn't want to get dependant on it. Get a neoprene back support, the heat they generate, as well as the support helps

That's M3 suspension for you. Or maybe The Pie overloaded your system!

Hmm now there's a thought, because of course I had a broken NSR spring on the Sunday, which was fixed yesterday morning before this problem arose!

As for the pie....I only took a few bites of it and it then went in the bin.

That coincided with a story about a binman in Helmsley going to hospital and being put in traction after attempting to empty a bin in the centre of town....

The upside is that the NSR spring was warranty work, so no charge but lots of free coffee and pastries....

The pie...alas the girl behind the counter was a comic I fear....
