Site just went altogether....

'This document holds no Data' flashed up so I reloaded site and everyone else had vanished. Tried to post and the 'no data' flashed up again, tried refreshing and site seized right up...

Has there been a virus infection on the site? cos no other site is doing this.

It only does it on this site, no others Killian, had it been on all sites then yes, chances are that it would be the ISP but it just affects this site.

Oh well not to worry. Guess its a good job I tend to go offline earlier now.

It isn't just me that is getting this, its just me who asks why.

I wonder if the people having these problems are infected with spyware ?

I think, but am open to being corrected, that if this is the case, when they request a page from the net, the spyware collects info about this and reports back to its master.

If they have several of these, then their own system could be slowing up whilst these functions take place, and causing themselves to time out from the site .

Just a thought !

Best Wishes

Nigel

The error message is a server processing message alright and not spywayre/virus related but I can't figure out why it targets a few users only.

Rhys has anti spyware, anti virus and I put a registry mechanic programme on this poot, all are running fine. Whatever causes the messages to flash up and the slowdown of the site only seems to happen after 9pm. Actually, thinking about it, its very similar to how things went before the site was updated last year.

Good morning Niggles, btw..nice to see you, to see you, nice
