I'll be up for coming along but not putting my car on. Honestly it has nothing to do with the probability of Stevie beating me in his 535D.

Anyone from the west fancy a mini convoy?

Alan.

Update,

Been over to BM Motors at the weekend (a hero works there) and I've a split L shaped boot from the MAF to the air plenum - parts ordered should get here this Wednesday and with a bit of swearing should be reasonably easy to fit myself (tempting fate with that statement). However the slight pop/miss is likely to be a coil as the spark plugs were recently done at the inspection 1. Going to BMW Irvine at lunchtime to get them to LISTEN to the engine rather than reading of the computer that tells them 'yip the engines running'. This should be under the warranty so shouldn't be too stingy - get a new set, if not under warranty I'll have to get just one then by trial and error find which is the guilty one. Of course I could do all this and still have the problem then I'd really be screwed.

Still looking forward to this one - cars gotta be right don't want any Corsas beating me plus wanna see how close my 'old' M car is to the newer metal.

Cliff, I for one will be going up via the Kincardine Bridge, for me that's the quicker route.

Tiko your times sound fine to me, if we're to meet at the showcase we'd need to double back on ourselves to get onto the A80 wouldnt it be better for the meet to take place at the Little Chef/Shell services after Cumbernauld on the A80

I'll get you lot at the Shell station at around 8.30 then. Hope the weather is good and i'll be sure to bring a camera. How long does the trip take??

Oh and Stevie I bet your avoiding the Forth road bridge to save stumping up £1. I've got vouchers somewhere for free journeys.

Alan.
