the #1 thing that causes brake judder is not 'warpage' per se it is more correctly referred to as; 'runout induced disc thickness variation' -this can be caused by a number of the above mentioned, but what is going on is actually a bit different; it is the THICKNESS variation that feels like warpage... If you don't believe me, try a bit of google action and see if you believe them. cheers

The other big no-no is worn pads. When new the
pads dissipate a lot of heat which is severely diminished when they're wafer thin. |

This applies not just to the brakes, but to the WHOLE car. Let everything warm up - oil, water, tyres, you - then have fun. you know it makes sense! |
