Narusas E36 isn't an M3 though, is it? I thought it was a 325 or 328 with a pile of stuff done to it.

Was that an m3 e36 or what was it? Heard it was a 328 in the pit. It was a crazy fast yoke. Was powering away like mad the whole way down the straights all day... Not one sign of a flat spot in its power... Sounded like a right beast aswell.. Remember it from the last track day too. An absolute beauty of a car... |

it's a 2.5L. He is pushing around 235bhp (on dyno not numbers out of the blue) revs up to 8200rpm and he has a few handling mods (anti-rollbars and probably shocks and springs). Oh and is car is as light as possible, no backseat, sound proofing or carpet! |

Holy crap... That is one very very fast 325.... It was well up with the pace of m3's if not faster than some... Could not see the extent of lightening as the car is well tinted. How in the name of bee-jayzus did he get it to rev to 8200rpm? Thats like a big bike engine on steroids.... Mental yoke altogether.... Fair play Narusa.... Graham |

Yes its only 2.5 ,but this time i was much happier how it
behaved on the track.Since the last BDD i upgraded
front brakes from 325 e36 to 330e46 with RedStuff pads and dot5.1
brake fluid. And it made BIG improvement.Every single lap i was able to
brake right at 100meters mark on the main stright,at that
point car was traveling about 165-170 km/h.

Was I the only one? Auto worked really well actually. Held it in 2nd for all the corners then allowed it to shift up to 3rd on the main straight, the straight down to turn 3 and the run up to Dunlop. Then when still accelerating I could pre-select 2nd and as I braked and the speed reduced enough 2nd would engage itself leaving me to concentrate on braking and steering. All very smooth and all the upshifts consistantly on the red line.
@ TJ; That's a nice car you have, especially the colour! What causes that magic whistling sound from your car as it passed the pits? A few cars have that sound.
@ US M3; It'll probably be a few days before I get a chance to follow that up. Even when I do I won't know if it's worked until I've the car back on the track as there's no problem on the road. Thank's for your help. |

@ T.J., ya i meant to say that to you too. There is a savage whistle off it. Sounded nuts bootin down the straight. Is it a standard factory exhaust you have on it? |
