My brothers buddy, who is based in Galway, has a few 6 series and other assorted classics he buys and parks up all over the place and ends up doing nowt with. There's a mint 77 XJ6 sitting doing nowt in my brothers driveway in Dublin since February for example. Wouldn't surprise me if those 6s were his too...tis his style

I've just come back from Corsica, where there were quite a few 505s parked up in the mountain villages. Nice looking things.

I've been very tempted by this - it's been for sale for months & months now... 2.2L, rear wheel drive, a limmo as standard, and it's dropped to peanuts. And drop dead gorgeous in my opinion. you can tune them too - they made a 180bhp turbo one (this only has 130-odd bhp) - and there's still loads of tuning bits available.

AAAh yes, it was TJ I spoke to before and asked that his brothers buddy get in contact

St Jude is getting close to as far as I intend rebuilding her at this time and I might look at a 635 as I have the rusting wreck full of workable goodies

Still on a UK registration and no sign of a tax disc, either  - must've got away from the Garda with murder

I actually remember seeing that car on some Peugeot website advertised for sale, it was a UK website afair and it was going for very little money. I would love to buy an old 505 for nostagia regions, my dad had one for 10 years and scrapped it in 1997.

As it has only half the miles that mine has, I am seriously thinking of selling mine and buying his.

And I thought that it only happened to others.

You Jammy Ba@#ard,

There was a red one for sale recently with 27k on it for roughly the same money. Cant be many left with that mileage.

Best of luck with it if you get it.

I wouldn't rely on him finding the note on the windscreen, its probably pulp now with all the rain we have had.

Thanks for the update,

No, that's not so good, you can tell him that Hammond Lane might take the red one off him. I would say he will probably be looking for too much money for the blue one. The sad part is, if it is left lying around for much longer it will be the same as the red one.

Keep us informed.

Regards,

Bayerische.
