Ok guys........I have checked out the travel websites n spoken to a few folk so this is still going ahead as it seems to be passing (its off here now and is not lying) and the snow seems to be in pockets. So i will be making my way up there as planned and obviously its up to your own judgement wheather you travel. Hope to see you all there drive safely!

Well guys that was fun, i stayed at steph's last night at the bottom of the hill and I stay at the top of the hill, needless to say the car was nicely sideways all the way up the hill!! No one had been up that bit yet so I thought I'd have a go!!  About an inch or so here at tho mo.....

I have just checked the webcams again on the bbc wesite and it deffinately looks as if its eased off. The M8 at the edinburgh end looks alot clearer now. So take care everyone
