Ok, thanks for that anyway lads, worth trying...

It is a 300+ bhp Starlet Glanza Turbo with launch control, uprated intercooler, turbo (with external waste gate), pistons, which has a 0-60 of under 4 secs and runs out the gear box in approx 11 secs. Would have been nice to see it go on the track.

Sure he will prob drive it up anyway but just watch....

@ GStanley : Did Stan actually get it back?? Every time I see him I ask & I always get a "they told me next week"... I reckon if he asked to bring out the General Lee, Killian would let him. Check out this beast, lads..

@T.J. : It's Fred who actually owns the Glanza. No he has not got it back yet, was meant to be this week but when they tested her on the dyno's the clutch just got torn to bits, way too much torque for it. It was a "fancy dan" uprated clutch too, but it was obviously not fancy enough....  He will hopefully have it back this month alright, everything else is done but the clutch.

That was the General Lee in her earlier moddified state, she now has the confederate flag on the roof, and driver and passenger rifles in the doors.. Some yoke for burn outs, god bless those remoulds and the clutch, they don't make em like they used too

does the flag make it go any faster?

@kbannon : according to the rollers, the confederate flag added about 75bhp but the extra weight of the guns slowed her down a bit...

Quote Killian: No Minis or RRs!

Ah now... if a new RR PHantom turned up and "ones owner requested a foray around ones quaint circuit", you'd have to give the guy a go!

Theres a guy starting a track day company based in the republic, he's starting off with mondello for the 16th nov. I hear he's going to expand his business to doing some of the uk tracks. I think his plan is to keep relatively high end and keep numbers down, avoiding the fast ans the furious crew... There seems to be a demand for more 'safe' track days.. You need to register with him, but i'm still waiting on the details to do so myself, i'll keep you up to date..

At the same time if the non-BMW rule wasn't in place then surely any car could come down and eventually there would be a queue of corsas and other POSs wanting to go out on track!

I'm a total track newbie also Kin, even though I'll be there in an E46M3.  Was kinda hoping you would give me a couple of pax laps and show me the lines in the M5
