Rear Light Failure Display ?

   Think I have it sorted chaps !
The message on the dash board identifying that the drivers side rear light had gone off, appears to have been the high level brake light.
As suggested by you guys I had ommitted to check the high level brake light bulb.
When I took the bulb out of the holder the contact which touches the metal body part of the bulb appears to have been arcing and caused the intermittent problem, part of it has now snapped off. Part of the plastic on the bulb holder has also melted. I think I will buy a new bulb holder guess it will be a BMW part only ?  Thanks again chaps !
