Hi all, i have read many posts recently regarding tyres ie which are best,so i thought i would spend some time and find out for you.

And Bridgestone POTENZA re 050A,S seem to be the top tyre for price on the market at the moment that i can find, this is not a personal choice you under stand,as like all of us we can only comment on tyres we have tried our selfs,  but have a look and see what you think.

    What's the price on those?   I went for Vredestein in 235/45 R17, which also got pretty good all-round marks, but are excellent value at £93 per tyre.

    Hey Miles,    how do you get your photos into your signature?
    Also, were ngel Eyes ever original BMW equipment (ie on the E39)?

    To add a picture to your signature just enter (IMG)http://location of your picture(/img) (but you need to replace the round brackets with square ones) in the Signature area of your profile.

    Angel eyes were standard on later E39's from 2000> I believe ?

    The thing you need remember about those tests is to bear in mind the number of miles/kms driven on the tests.... some are much higher and have been rated by more people than others which should give a more even handed review vs one or two peoples experiences over a short period of time.

    Going on personal experiences here with relatively comparable cars has to be a better bet.

    Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's do it for me! Pirelli P6000's don't
