Just had my two wheels refurbed for £40.00 per alloy, the company is mobile and are called Auto Cosmetics, email if you want some more contact details. They are based in the west midlands so I dont know if that is any good for you..

Found the telephone number it is 01922 684954, also very good with those annoying scratches in the paint and stone chips, very pleased with the job they did and they specialise in BMW's and Porsches working for the local dealerships..

Leesy,

£25 sounds damn good to me too.
I did a search for the company on Google:

79 Manchester Road
Westhoughton
Bolton
BL5 3QD
Lancashire
Tel: 01942 818953
Managing Director - Mike L Te****

I'm gonna get intouch.

Thats pretty good. I tried getting Wicked Wheels to come out and do all five of mine but it seemed like too much hard work for them?!?!?!! I'm in Bury Lancs. I'm gonna use someone who wants some business. Feedback on the above guys if you use them

Cheers
Phil

Just rang Vanden Powder Coatings. Mark is off on holiday but apparantly has said they may no longer do alloy wheels due to some bubbling that they have experienced recently.

Anyway it didn't fill me with confidence I'm afraid so I think I'll keep looking around. Could really do with somewhere that does the whole job ie tyre removal etc themselves. Otherwise it's a ballache to get the tyre removed from one wheel at a time while it's being done.

Thanks fellas.

I've used AWR in Bury about 5 months ago. Had the cross spokes on my E30 stripped, the kerbing rash removed and a repaint in Black and Silver. The finish was great and is still holding up well. The only problem is stone chips which i can't really blame them for or the scratches associated with fitting new tyres.

The cost was about £50 (inc VAT) for the repairs and 2 tone repaint. It's cheaper if you only want silver. They don't have a web site but if you search Yell.com for AWR or Alloy Wheel Refurb you should find them. If you know the area at all, they're just down the road from Bury Grammar School.

Ist seitlich das neue nachschickt!
