Hi everyone, still getting to nkow my 525e. Have noticed on "enthusiastic" cornering the front mudflaps ground on the inside of corner(either direction).

The have the BMW logo on them, I just thought maybe they needed an inch or so off, but a friends son who has a newer model says it shouldn't happen and suspension is faulty. Help! I have to go to Devon and back this week!

Apart from a mild clonk now and again on front passenger side no other sign of anything wrong, done about 500 miles recently without mishap. Should I worry?Ian

I think most cars would do the same if enthusiastically driving round corners. Unless you specifically kit out the car with any and all stiffening mods and addons out there anti roll bars, suspension stiffened, struts over the top of the suspension front and back there is no way to keep a car from tilting to one side or the other going round bends at speed.

Granted suspension does go over time and can feel a bit wallowy and perhaps a bit too much tilt when you go round bends but for most part they should be ok if you keep up with servicing and regularly check for wear and tear. Wack it in to a local garage and ask them to take a look at it if they say its ok for x miles then just keep that in mind and act accordingly when needed.
