The forum leaves a small text file on a visitors machine identifying the visitor (used to remember you when you return, etc.). Within that it stores the last time you visited.

If posts are being marked as read or unread when they shouldn't then I would try emptying your temporary internet files (with Internet Explorer >> tools >> internet options >> Delete cookies & delete files

Is it me (or maybe my browser, or maybe cookies) but do the open and closed envelope icons operate a bit erratically since the upgrade?

Sometimes I can look at, say, the Mpower forum and there is maybe one or two open envelopes. Go into read one and come back out and then most of the page might have open envelopes (when they didn't before) but the order has not changed and there are no new posts since last I looked when I check each individual topic!

It also seems to change dependent on if I am logged in or not.

Not a big issue but just wondered if I could do anything to fix it at my end.
