I have a couple of sets of E28 M5 wheels for sale and one guy is asking me if they would be ok to fit on his 6 . Size is 7.5x16 ET 20 I'd like to make sure they will fit so I don't get messed about by him .

Cheers

Hopefully they should be OK.

I have one set of 8x17 "throwing star" M5 System II alloys from the E34 M5, plus a set of 7x15 "Style 31" alloys from the E39.

Both are ET20, and fit.

If still in doubt, there's nothing wrong with asking your guy to bring his Six round so you can test fit front and rear and both be satisfied.....

i run 8*18 radial 32's with ET 20 on my M6 so 7.5*16 should fit fine.

My tyres are 235/40/45 but with 16's there should not be any issues with the tyres rubbing the strut housing

Tyre size is the key to fitting 16-inch wheels - I know
that with 8Jx16 rims 225/60 R16s are too tall, but
50-profile rubber clears the struts.
