A newbie question of course, but are there many differences between body panel reports amongs the various 02 types? Obviously the backend of the '74's onward is, but what about the rest? I need a bonnet for a 74 2002 and maybe a door or two, so will, say these items from a '66 1602 fit? Anywhere wth a definitive list of mechanical bits as well? I have a loooong shopping list!

Jeff

For a definitive list of parts, then the online catalogue of the BMW Mobile Tradition department is hard to beat.  They did make the car after all!!  You have to register and all that, but it's worth it.

Other than that, the Jaymic catalogue is very useful, whether you buy anything from them or not.

As far as the panel compatibility goes, I'm not 100% sure but I think they're the same except that the 1502/1602 models didn't have any of the aluminium/plastic trim parts fitted, so they will be without the mounting holes.  I'm sure a 1502/1602 owner will correct me if I'm wrong.  Good luck.
