Hi

I run a 2002 330d and i want to get it chipped/re-mapped. I
have already done a search on this subject and cannot find the
answer to my question -

I already have a miltek exhaust and i propose to buy a ITG
panel filter. What is the best map for this car to get the most
power and torque ???

Tim

Superchips? http://www.superchips.co.uk/curves/330d204.pdf

Or are you looking for a more custom map. There are custom diesel tuners around the UK aswell. But Superchips offer 245bhp, not bad for an oil burner!!!!

You might want to look into a "unichip" too, although i don't have one myself yet, plenty of people rave about them, they are custom mapped to complement your existing mods.

I know that a place called "Dastek" does them, they're near Edinburgh - this might be a bit far for you to travel?

Heres something I found on the web, a company called DMS Automotive (www.dmsautomotive.com) in Andover, Hampshire has produced 228 bhp / 380 lb ft from a 330d using their £699 tuning option - the pdf review gives full details:

Van Aacken (spelling!?) also have something that you can do "in line" with the existing ECU, so that it can be easily removed and is undetectable on the BMW diag's equipment.  They advertise in BMW Car and Total BMW regularly.
Now: BMW 523i SE '00, 318i SE - e91 '07, 325i Coupe '93.

Prev:
e46 328i SE Touring, 330Ci, 318Ci.
e39 523i SE.
e36 325i Coupe *2, 323i SE, 316iSE.
e30 325iSE 2dr, 320i Conv, 320i 2dr, 316i.
