Looking for a good independent garage in Manchester (preferably Trafford) to service my 1991 325iS.  Begrudge paying BMW main dealer prices.  Anyone got any recommendations?

cheers

Police arrested two kids yesterday, one was drinking battery acid, the
other was eating fireworks. They charged one and let the other one off.

I know of a very good garage in Manchester city centre, it's called BM Tec and it's situated opposite Salford Central railway station.  The phone number is 0161 8341951 and ask for Andy.  Sorry it's not in Trafford, however I do know of a good garage in Urmston called Cooper & West, phone No.0161 7482771.  They're a Bosch specialist and good with engine tuning etc, but also do the more mundane work, MOT, service and so on.
Jonathan, Manchester.

Cheers Jonathan - I actually live in Urmston, but never tried Cooper and West - will give them a try I think!

Why don't you try Autotecnic at Williams Manchester? They offer Main dealer servicing, but at cheaper prices. No hire car or valets to keep the price down.
