not a bad episode of Wheeler Dealers, very nice car you have Steve, your signature pictures don't do it justice, better seen on the telly

a classic car magazine article was mentioned, would that be the Practical Classics one published this month?

Thanks for stealing my thunder Stephen!! I worked long and hard on that buying guide with the help of Iain Hamilton and Brendan Purcell for the E30 REGISTER. The version in the mag is only part of what I have on my PC. and as soon as I had time I would have put this on the E30 Register web page. I know you would not have known this but as you can tell I am P***** off. Sorry mods I know I should have sent a PM but this makes me feel better.

Ron Parish a very busy E30 REGISTER CHAIRMAN

Watched the program last night and have to say your car looks really good sitting low on those Alpina's Steve.

Did you get a chance to have a look over the car that they were working on? It would have been interesting to know what miles was on it and how the car looked close up.

Hey Stephen well done mate, I bet that's the first time your car has ever been past 3000rpm , and you only said 'like' once!!!

Car looked as good as ever mate, sounded top too!

Thanks for all the comments guys, very much appreciated!

I did have a look over the "other" touring and it wasn't too bad. The engine sounded sweet but the gearchange was of porridge stirring quality! Bodywise it was largley cosmetic, the worst of which was two rust spots just below the rear nearside back window. The leather interior I suspect was a retrim that was done at some point as it was a very light shade of grey, lighter than the standard BMW grey leather.

Simon you cheeky beggar!! The touring regularly sees the other side of 3000rpm.....like!!!
