I know I have posted this else where but just incase someone is looking for this I thought I would post this as a sticky.
December issue of the Practical Classics has a buying guide for the E30. Not only is this very usefull its in a CLASSIC magazine. Written by Richard Dredge from the magazine plus help from Iain Hamilton, Brendan Purcell and myself.

a sticky is just a discussion thread that stays at the top of the thread listing page e.g. E30 Register Forum without moving down the list over time.

Out of curiosity Ron, is there a PDF version of this as E30 buying advice seems to be a common query here?

Good Question.

Why can't all the guides be available this way?

Cats know your every thought.

But don't care.

Guys

The Practical Classics guide is really a fantastic article but a more abbreviated version of a 'Sport' buying guide may help a little.

It can be found at :

http://www.e30zone.co.uk/modules.php?name=Forums&file=vi ewtopic&t=22543&highlight=buying+guide

I still fully recommend the one from the club to really get your detail as this link really only covers the Sport and similar, whilst the Club version goes into the history of the E30 in depth.

Iain

I've found Practical Classics magazine an extremely good read. They recognise "modern" classics and cover all sorts of makes and models enthusiastically. Rarely do I see the writer slate anything, which is a good thing.
