Kildrummy Castle Hotel..14/11/2004..PICS

Today some of us had a run out to Kildrummy Castle Hotel to meet up with Smoggy(John) From m`Boro.John and Wendy were staying up in Scotland this weekend so i organized a few of us to go out and meet up with him at Kildrummy castle hotel near Alford(no where near BTW) We met at Inverurie before setting off.In attendance there was:

Smoggy+Wendy

 

When we finally got there(after a whole round trip and back to where we started) We met up with John +Wendy who were sitting at the bottom of the hotels road.

He said the Hotel was private,so we took our cars up anyway LOL.

I asked if they served drinks and food to non residence to which the reply was"no alcohol just tea/coffee and cakes"

So in we went

WOW What a place!!

Dave did the Honor of ordering us all Tea/Coffee and cakes.

They arrived in style if i do say so my self.

 

3 cake stands full of scones and cakes

And 3 large teapots and coffee pots.As we tucked in i made a comment to Dave about how much will this cost.(Yes i had 3 cups of tea and 3 scones)

Shortly after Chris and his lass and mate decided they would have to go as the lass was getting bored.

We fin our tea and coffee`s so i asked for the Bill

Wait for it.

 

 

 

 

£78!!!!

Not bad i suppose for all that tea/coffee and scones £6.50 each(shame there were loads of cakes left that we paid for)

So thats how the other half live then???

We then went outside to take some pics,but it was getting rather dark.

 

Over all tho great day out.Nice to meet John and Wendy

and eat like Kings and Queens for one afternoon

Not going back (well ok then!!!)

how many miles is that anyway?  think I might have my baby back then!!  

I will see you lot there on Sunday. I am driving up from Middlesbrough on Friday morning and staying Friday night in Dundee. On the Saturday I will be on a course for the Comuncation Workers Union, and whenit is finished will be driving up to Glenkindie were we will be staying for a few days.

Looking forward to metting up with you lot on Sunday!
