why not talk about the weather...

Picture the scene......

Soft sunshine reflecting on a calm sea outside my window this afternoon...seagulls and cormorants flying overhead...silence all around...waves gently lapping on the stony beach....

only to be interupted by the sound of one of Her Majesty's Destroyers as it slips past and almost runs a yacht over.....

mmmmmm....the romantic sound of a ship's horn blasting and quite possibly - though couldn't hear it - a whole lot of expletives from the yacht crew....

Perfect Thursday afternoon by the Solent.....

I spose it does depend on what is said, about what and in which context Mell...them there rules are there for a reason...bending usually

Although, bending them is fine while Niggles is otherwise engaged and his red pen has run out of ink....

These threads are for general silliness, insomniacs and those who have a sense of fun and humour....

Of course they could be used for anything else too...I'm sure you know what I'm getting at....but then that is where the chatroom comes in so very handy, as long as you log off properly of course.

The chatroom is a great place to have a giggle with people in..even old Niggles lets his hair down a bit and we have a laugh with him.

Would be such a shame it the chatroom were to be removed cos of abuse that I too read in there last night.  Conversations like that should be kept in the playground at school, not on a site with supposed adults on it.

Still, every site has to have those who make waves, or are less than polite..courtesy costs nothing, but sometimes it might as well cost the earth.

Like I said though Rhys, had those involved logged out properly, none of what had been said would have been known about, perhaps those involved will remember that next time..or better still use one of the external instant messaging programmes instead of taking advantage of the chatroom on here.

Won't name names though, they know who they are.
