Well, just feeling the water here. I have a 1985 m635 in zinnobar red,
needs front wings and paint but is original and has new brakes (including rebuilt calipers), radiator, exhaust, control arms, good tyres, rebuilt engine and new clutch, short shift and it goes like stink. Only thing is I am rstoring a batmobile and need to sell it and am in dublin half the year. I was wondering if there was any market for the car here. Im looking for £6k. Just thought id ask here as I only know of two in ireland and with the front wings and paint(not necessary) it would be mint. Regards Rohan |

Rohan, I might know someone that could be interested in your car, possibly myself also. Is the price euro or sterling? I live and work in Dublin so meeting up is not a problem.

Andy, I read your reply to Dax with interest. I only knew of one csl, the white car in the album in Ireland. Are there more then? I hope for their sake that they arent on stiff springs and big wheels down south! As for the m6 that price is sterling. Just remembered I have had the car checked underneath and any re undersealed, done properly with any rust taken care of.
Unfortunately the car is not in Dublin, I just wondered due to the lack of them here and the fact that I would like to see it sold to here. I can send any photos to interested parties etc. I have looked at a lot of e24's and this is a very genuine straight car and thats why I bought it!
Regards

Rohan, No the other CSLs are on standard springs and wheels. One is golf yellow and mint and the other is green being restored. I will let you know if my friend wants to see the M6 photos. Thanks. |

The Sixes were always expensive cars in Ireland. The M635CSis even more so when you consider what the tax levels were in 'Eighties Ireland....
