If your a club member you can advertise your car on the web site for free, and then link to it on the forum.

If your not a club member you have to pay, but I'm not sure how much.

I'm afraid you cant just pop an advert on the forum.

Best Wishes

And if you do .. bad things will happen ... The Nikasil Fairies know where you live and, more importantly, what you drive.

So think on Mr. Sport...think on ....

heres an idea, post your ad and keep an eye on the active user list (all day).. when you see the names 'KBannon' and/or 'Nigel' pop up...edit your post really quick.

No one will be any the wiser, and we promise not to tell a soul.

We could set up round the clock surveilence on the thread, take it in turns, keeping guard.

Bit of Poison and maybe the .22 would come in handy, to finally be rid of the little vermin!

I came here today to try to find out some useful info and inspiration and all I see are people talking about Nikasil Fairies, (which I'm told can be lethal), someone who keeps appearing looking for cheese and the need to phone his local asylum after reading this forum - or have I left anything out? Well it seems like I've come to the right place anyway.

I own a beautiful e46 coupe in silver, a 2000 318ci ,  this is my 4th 3 series in nearly 10 years - and I'm going to be looking for a 5th at some point. Two things concern me at the moment 1. due to illness I am unable to drive at present and 2. next time I want a project car to do up, so sourcing a good base car poss. an e36 328 , an e24 635csi or maybe an e34 535 or the like, is crucial!  Which have the best and torquiest engines apart from the obvious M'sports? Then there's wide bodykits, good quality, and places that will fit them properly and do the whole job to a high standard.

Any help I recieve will be much appreciated. Thanks for now. See you later.       Approve

Welcome to the forum Mr Jump-Jet. Normally there is alot of sensible and useful information on here, just bad-luck youve happened upon a rogue thread that we, the stupid bunch, thought would be suitable for hi-jacking.

Maybe put a post in the 3 series or M power section regarding this, as it will get more significant exposure.

Saying that tho, the powers that be may tick you off for X-posting, so be careful how you word it.

All the best and have a nice Christmas, and if Christmas isnt your thing, have a nice few Bank Holidays off instead.

Adam

Thanks for the tip Praktisk (or Adam), though I'm not quite sure what X-posting is yet!

Speak to you soon and have a good Christmas too!

Cheers.

X-posting or cross posting is when you put the same message up on different boards all generating their own conversations.

psml at the earlier comments. so i can't just drop into general conversation what car it is that my mate is selling? ;-)  afterall it would only be conversation ;-)

i tell him to stop being so tight and pay for an ad.  at the end of the day he'll stand a better chance of selling it from a bimmer forum rather than the local paper.

it is a nice car.  not standard anymore.  dtm exhasut, filter, m-tech side skirts, spoiler, k&n and 18" chromes that cost 2k new.

doesn't keep up with the 535 though
