Mother used to take them down this evening, after mass of course. The Epiphany is tomorrow but I don't know if it is still a holy day of obligation, we still had to go to mass again though.

Sorry - wrongly worded. I meant that at midnight the Epiphany begins (as it is then the 6th).
I plan on restoring normal service when everyone is at mass/service/prayer/bed*!

*I believe that sleeping is a form of prayer. However, asking women to come pray with me seldom worked!

I watch with interest and amusment as wifey and kiddies trot off to mass, there always seems to be a special one to attend.

Its the best benefit of being a "heathen prod", I just watch them go !
