My 318is 1998 with 94k started to kangeroo or hickup on a trailing throttle and at low rev low speed driving, also used to feel as though it was missing.

Removed the Air mass meter after buying the special screwdriver for £2 removed meter gave it a good three sprays of electical component cleaner leaving 20mins after each spray, re fitted it and all is well touch wood.

Posted in case anyone has similar probs

Biff

I've been told i may have a problem relating to the air mass meter and throtle assembly giving wrong info to the DME control unit on my 1997 328i. Will i be able to do the same fix as you?
