Ozzy,

If you want to run a more gentle and ambulatory cruise, that's fine -- go ahead! My cruises tend to be based on nice twisty roads with a minimum of traffic -- the emphasis is on enjoying your car. But I know from personal experience that different people want different things from cruises, and the more the merrier, I say!

OK, well I should have the 6er ready (apart from the bodywork) by the 20th, and I do have some routes that I know for previous cruises, and if that works for everyone, then I'm happy to organise it.

Let me know.

I suppose the next question is: "what kind of event do you want?"

When I do cruises for the Z Register, it tends to take the following format:

1. Meet up
2. Drive round for a bit
3. Have lunch
4. Drive round some more
5. Stop and say goodbye
6. Scarper

Other Z Register organisers tend to have stops at scenic locations to take photos or amble around. However, my neck of the woods is refreshingly free of such distractions.

But the cruise / event might take a totally different form. Any ideas?

When I get either my 6er or my 3er sorted, I'll arrange one of my gentle countryside bimbles for those who might be interested.

Kind of depends on the point of the event, I guess.

So is S Mimms too far for non-essex lads?

Any other suggestions for locations?
