..Ally (Goldryder) has now moved to York. She can't believe the space she now has, as her old place on the Isle of Wight could be fitted in the kitchen of her new place.

Once she gets herself sorted out with a phone etc, she may even venture back onto here from time to time.

Any messages for her let me know and I'll pass them on.

York is a very nice place to live, in fact me and my Fiance would like to move there after we get married.

It is very expensive though and the whole flooding thing worries me a bit.

Will do.
The flooding can be a problem for some properties, especially if you are having a drinking session in the Kings Arms (The cellar is upsatairs)

Some roads close, and one or two of the main carparks are affected, but on the whole it's ok.

btw, for those who don't know, the Kings Arms is one of yorks famouse pubs which I have seen flooded to the top of the front door, it has a level inside which shows the height of the biggest floods over the last hundred years or so.
