Is there a Samco hose kit available for the E30 M3 ? I have been in touch with samco who say no , but there is a group buy on S14 for the US spec cars ,  is there a difference in the cars ??

Cheers Ian

I tried to find one last year with no joy, don't be disheartened though as these things can be extremely hard to track down. If you do manage to find a supplier, I would be interested for a group buy.
Good Luck!

Samco is just up the road from me , and they said that they don't make a kit , but if I pay for the tooling ( £1200 + vat) I can then sell them and have sole rights on them , but if they already make them then sod that !!

I was looking a while back too and came across these people

http://www.amber-performance.co.uk/site/allmakes/samco.php

who have them listed on there website, but i never got around to enquiring about them. If anybody goes ahead and gets some would be interested in hearing about it.

I spoke to Rally Design in Kent , who told me the kit is for a US spec car and that Samco have warned them that one hose, may or may not fit as they haven't tested them on a Euro spec car. The Rally Design guy told me to speak to Samco direct to check .
Price was £161.82 inc VAT and post for a 7 part kit.

I think you guys are being told they are not available as they were made for US spec cars.I asked Demon Tweeks and they said they don't do them too. I'm guessing that DM and other places are saying no as they believe them to for US cars and no good for Euro spec.

try amber peformance in Luton.

I say this, as there was a group buy for hoses on a vw forum and they didn't (at the time) make a set for the mk3gti 16v golf. So samco made up a set free of charge (for one person) since there was a  sudden demand for them.

SO if samco were to receive 30 orders for a set surely its worth their while to start making them.

Bexley Motor Works offered me a set last year. ISTR it was twice the OE prices of £80. I'm not sure who made it though.

contacted James at Amber Performance, this was his reply..

jamie,

as far as i am aware the hoses fit all the E30 M3, as all the cars were LHD.

we have done a few of these kits and had no problems to date.

hope this helps
